With on-line purchases continuing to break new records, one of the UK’s leading removals firms, Burke Bros Moving Group, based in Wolverhampton,www.burkebros.co.uk, have launched their new on-line shop for moving boxes and packing materials.

The new on-line shop was bought about by growing demands from Burke Bros’ customers wanting to order their cardboard boxes, wardrobe boxes, and packing materials outside of regular office hours.
Customers also said they wanted the flexibility to be able to browse through all the different kinds of packaging materials available, but they didn’t always have time to visit the Burke Bros warehouse to see for themselves what kind of items are available.
Dave Colley, Head of Burke Bros Operations said:“These days, more customers want to order moving boxes and packing materials when it’s convenient to them, and also where they could see the different types of materials available, to help prompt them towards what they’ll need. The new on-line shop is certainly going to make life easier for our future customers.”
Customers say that the quantities of packing materials, boxes, bubble wrap, tape, etc. required are always difficult to gauge, and it’s only when they start packing their personal possessions, usually early evening or late at night, that they suddenly realise they’re rapidly running out of boxes and materials and need to order some more.
Burke Bros Head of International, Chris Starkey said: “With the new on-line shop our customers can now jump on to their computer and place their order any time, day or night!”
Dave continued:“We can usually get the materials out to the customer within 24 hours!”
The new e-commerce website, www.burkebros.co.uk, has a complete range of different size moving kits, large cartons, book cartons, linen cartons, bike boxes, wardrobe boxes, plastic crates, sofa and armchair covers, furniture covers, plus a whole range of mattress covers of all sizes. There are also accessories like heavy duty tape, bubble wrap, and tissue paper to help pack those more fragile and valuable items.
Chris also said:“All our packing materials and moving boxes are high quality products, at a great price, and are specifically designed for house moving, such as double lined corrugated cardboard boxes and the like. As many people soon find out, old crisp boxes are just not strong enough to do the job properly.”
