Will my possessions be safe?
Burke Bros. offers premises with 24 hour CCTV, full perimeter fencing and alarm systems. Possessions are locked away securely using an individual padlock.
How easy it is to move items into the self-store facility?
We offer indoor unloading areas with trolleys and sack barrows to make unloading items easier.
Who can use self-storage?
Self-storage is for anyone who finds themselves running out of space at home or at work and needing a secure place to store their goods until they are needed again.
In between house moves…..our facilities can accommodate furniture and household items if sellers have to wait before they can move into their next property. This eases situations where there is a chain in the property buying.
De-cluttering….our facilities employ the highest levels of security to house possessions that are of value to you and for which you would like to keep hold of, but are running out of room for in your own premises.
Renovating or decorating…….if the property you are moving to requires renovation work or a premises is being re-decorated, self-storage allows house contents to be stored safely and out of harms’ way.
Moving offices…… our self-store can house furniture, IT equipment, or even stock whilst premises are re-decorated etc.
There are many other scenarios in which self-storage is an ideal solution.
What can’t be stored?
Items which are illegal, perishable or flammable. Storing drugs is strictly prohibited.
Do I need insurance?
All customers using our self-store facility must have insurance for the items stored in the facility for the full duration of the storage period. This may be covered through personal insurance (we will require a copy), or the insurance can be arranged directly with Burke Bros Moving Group. Prices and details are available upon request.
When can I access my possessions?
You can have unlimited access to your possessions during our opening hours. If you are likely to need regular access to your possessions it may be worth using self-storage rather than any other means of storage.
How much room is available for self-storage and what does it cost?
Our facility offers as little or as much room as you need.
