Tomorrow will see the 2022 Wolverhampton to Aberdovey Bike Ride take place. With a heatwave predicted for tomorrow, it’ll be best to have factor 50 on hand and a good supply of water! It’ll be a test for the riders but we wish them every success.
It’s particularly pleasing to see the event up and running again after the pandemic forced it to be cancelled for the last two years.
We are also more delighted than ever to be the official logistics provider for the event and will once again be ensuring luggage and belongings are transferred to Aberdovey prior to the event and then that the hundreds of bikes involved in the charity ride are safely returned back to Wolverhampton. Riders will be able to collect from our storage facilities at the end of the weekend.
The event supports a number of charities and in 2019 raised an impressive total of £172,716.73.
This year Gary Burke is also involved in the bike ride and is raising money for local hospice Compton Care. There’s still time to support Gary by following the link here and donating if you are able to or by spreading the word by sharing the Just Giving page.
If you would like further information on the charity event take a look at the Aberdovey Bike Ride website.
