Burke Bros attended the Canadian Association of Movers Conference
Burke Bros Managing Director Gary Burke has attended the Canadian Association of Movers (CAM) conference from the 19th-21st October in Toronto. CAM is Canada’s trade association representing movers and relocation companies, van lines, international movers both in Canada and overseas, suppliers to the industry and trade associations with other countries. The conference brings together Canada’s top storage and removals companies to network and establish important business relationships with movers in all major markets. Attendees gathered to listen to Keynote Speakers such as Mary Power President & CEO of Council of Better Business Bureaus, Stephen Cryne President & CEO of Canadian Employee Relocation Council and Ted Mallett Vice President and Chief Economist at the Canadian Federation of Independent Business. They discussed topics such as the emerging trends shaping the world of relocation, Canada’s economy and protecting consumers. Burke Bros are proud to be the only award-winning removals service from the UK to have attended the conference, along with attendees from Canada and North American moving companies.
Gary was pleased to have caught up with so many international moving peers from the industry he had not seen for a while, some that he has known for up to 30 years.
