Margaret Corneby stated; “The awards will be themed ‘Business is Good for the Black Country’, a theme that is supported by the British Chambers of Commerce through their campaign ‘Business is Good for Britain’.
Why Business is Good for the Black Country?
BECAUSE: Business is good for local and national recovery, for local communities and for people.
BECAUSE: Business creates jobs, generates wealth and supports public services.
BECAUSE: Britain and the Black Country need entrepreneurs, global traders and innovative ideas.
Our awards are an ideal platform to showcase your company and celebrate your success, we want to recognise and profile companies who truly represent and contribute to the local economy.
The Chamber Awards are sure to be a huge success: in 2012, the awards attracted over 300 delegates. Following feedback and requests from you, our members, we have decided to hold the awards ceremony in the evening; so everyone has the chance to enjoy themselves and celebrate the achievements of Black Country businesses.
The Business is Good for the Black Country Awards Dinner sponsored by Birmingham Metropolitan College will take place on 21st November at Wolverhampton Racecourse.”
Keep your fingers crossed for Burke Bros everyone, may the best business win.
