Cyprus; the Hot Spots
We’ve co-ordinated numerous moves for families and individuals to every part of Cyprus. Here we’ve put together a whistle-stop tour of some of the most popular regions in Cyprus that expats commonly move to.
Paphos has remained a firm favourite amongst British expats buying abroad and is becoming one of the fastest growing locations on the island. It is also increasingly well-known as a family friendly town and boasts an ample set of amenities and facilities. Furthermore, the town is highly accessible and even has its own airport.
Limassol as the second largest town on the island, has come to the fore in recent times through being home to a brand new 600 berth marina. It has a range of cosmopolitan restaurants and exclusive shops to suit the growing business community and metropolitan atmosphere and yet property prices in Limassol are not currently averaging that much above Paphos.
Peyia has around 1,000 residents and is located on the steep slopes inland from Coral Bay, meaning it benefits from excellent sea views.
Pissouri nestles between Paphos and Limassol and whilst being a small village is still well stocked when it comes to amenities and is also in close proximity to Secret Valley and Aphrodite Hills; the two largest golf complexes on the island.
Polis is renowned for its beauty. Situated on the north-western coast and on the border of the Akamas peninsula, Polis is a nature reserve and as such offers some of the most appealing beaches and landscapes. Property here is often a little less on average than in Paphos.
