We have been advised, by our agents based in New Zealand, that there they are currently experiencing delays with the quarantine clearance of shipments arriving into New Zealand.
This is due to a large backlog of documentation processing by the Ministry for Primary Industry. The agent has reported that in some instances it is also resulting in unnecessary detention/demurrage charges.
