Hurricane Harvey Impacts Ports
US Gulf states have been heavily impacted by Hurricane Harvey as high winds and torrential rain sweep the area.
Ports have been greatly affected with operations still transitioned to ‘Post Storm Recovery.’
The impact of the hurricane is still being assessed by port personnel and recovery operations are underway with a view to working towards normal business operations. Hydrographic channel surveys are being conducted to help determine when it is feasible for channels to open.
