As we approach our 40th year milestone, we have begun our commitment to reducing our company’s emissions and taking action to halve our greenhouse gas emissions before 2030, achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 and to regularly report on progress towards these aims.
We have made our pledge to the SME Climate Commitment, recognised by the United Nations ‘Race to Zero’ campaign, to take action against the threat that climate change poses to the environment, society and the economy.
The SME Climate Hub is an initiative founded by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the Exponential Roadmap Initiative, the We Mean Business coalition and the UNFCCC Race to Zero campaign, with the aim of supporting small and medium-sized businesses to build business resilience.
We have also joined an initiative dedicated to decarbonising Black Country businesses to become carbon neutral, ‘Turning the Black Country Green’ to help drive the UK’s second industrial revolution, the green revolution.
It’s time to look at our company through a different lens, take responsibility of our organisational carbon footprint and start making changes to play our role in both the local area and on a global level and also to lead the way in future proofing the moving industry.
