1. How much notice does a removal company need?
As with all removals, inform the remover of the date as early as you possibly can. Be mindful, particularly during the summer months that most removal companies are considerably busier. Leaving the booking too late may mean that it’s harder to find availability with your chosen mover.
2. Do you offer a free pre move survey for office relocations?
Burke Bros Moving Group offer pre-move surveys entirely free charge. This will involve a surveyor visiting the premises to assess the requirements for the move and carrying out a comprehensive site survey to advise on the process and options available and the provision of an accurate quote. 3. Do you provide packing boxes and office move packing services?
We provide both. Our staff are trained in professional packing techniques and our packing services will take the stress out of an office/commercial relocation. If you opt to pack yourself, we can provide professional standard packing materials (available in our online shop and from our head office premises.)
We advise that, if you opt to pack yourself, to ensure that each box is labelled clearly prior to the removal company arriving.
4. We don’t need all of our office furniture and equipment moving in one go, do you offer storage?
Our storage depositories offer a safe and secure home for office furniture and equipment for as long as you require. We offer two options; containerised storage or self access storage.
We also offer a range of ancillary services: shredding, recycling, reuse and IT disposal. Speak to our surveyors for further information.
5. Can you move our IT equipment and server?
Whether it’s an internal move of IT equipment or a full server relocation, we have the specialist skills to handle all equipment correctly, move it safely and efficiently, and ensure it arrives at the new destination on schedule and ready for recommissioning and continued use. IT equipment is transported with the greatest of care utilising bubble wrap, cardboard flat screen protectors and blankets to ensure protection in transit.
