As of 3rd September 2024, our entire HGV fleet is fully compliant with the Direct Vision Standard (DVS) and HGV Safety Permit Scheme for Transport for London. This means all our heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) over 12 tonnes gross vehicle weight are now equipped with the required Progressive Safety System (PSS), ensuring we can operate seamlessly without interruption to clients throughout Greater London.
This marks a significant investment and safety upgrade for our removal and storage company, particularly given the importance of these regulations for nationwide removals. The new DVS 2024 PSS, including AI cameras and reversing cameras, have been installed across all of our HGV vehicles. Our fleet is now fully permitted and equipped, with valid safety permits extending through to 2030. This ensures that we surpass the October 28 2024, deadline, demonstrating our commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
