We have been advised of the following conditions at the Port of Felixstowe by Mediterranean Shipping Company (UK) Ltd:
The Port of Felixstowe continues to experience service interruptions following the implementation of a new terminal operating system in June 2018. Shipping lines advise that these issues are impacting all associated shipping lines and vessel arrival times and collection/delivery slots.
Temporary Amendment to 2M Transatlantic Network – String NEUATL2
Mediterranean Shipping Company (UK) Ltd. would like to advise customers that, starting on 22nd July for a period of four to six weeks, the UK port of call for the NEUATL2 string will be Liverpool rather than Felixstowe.
Routing the NEUATL2 string via Liverpool not only provides customers with a viable alternative UK solution for their Transatlantic cargoes, it also alleviates some of the pressure on and through the Port of Felixstowe as it attempts to overcome its productivity issues.
