At Burke Bros Moving Group we continue to closely monitor developments with respect to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), taking guidance from Govt UK, public health organisations and BAR. We have taken steps to ensure the safety and wellness of our office and operational staff including customers, transport & travel, wellbeing, business continuity plans, prudently evaluating the work place and working to implement virus protocol for office and operational staff including visitor guidelines for those coming to our location as well as guidelines for our staff visiting our customers homes or offices.
External communication to our clients in advance of home visits when required as well as instructions to clients and staff on moving day is under daily review.
We have taken steps to update employees on advice from the government and reinforce preventative measures in order to limit the risk of transmission. Focus has been very much upon ensuring close attention is paid to the washing of hands and the exposure to anyone displaying cough/cold symptoms is limited. All staff that have been advised by a medical professional to self-isolate have been instructed to notify Management.
Our ongoing responsibility for the health and well being of our staff does not take anything away from our commitment to providing the best services and support that our customers have come to expect and we look to continue working closely with our customers to minimise any potential disruption to home or office moving.
We realise this current situation remains very dynamic and we are constantly evaluating and monitoring any potential knock on effects to services and will try to mitigate via alternative plans where necessary. We will provide updates as we learn more but are confident in our preparation and contingency planning to keep our staff, customers and suppliers healthy and safe.
