After holding the position of European Regional Director within the Pan American International Movers Association of America (PAIMA) Gary Burke, Managing Director of the UK’s leading International moving firm Burke Bros Moving Group has been elected onto the full board of PAIMA, who’s Headquarters are based in Panama City, Central America.
With this new full board appointment, Gary will be representing the interests of all overseas removers from outside of the Americas. His brief is to increase tonnage shipments, between all member countries, ensuring each member company delivers and maintains the highest quality moving standards.
Panama is the financial capital of Latin America and, with the new widening of the Panama Canal, has attracted many corporate organisations to this vibrant region of the world.
Along with Gary’s extensive removals industry experience, and Burke Bros’s growing business interests within the region, he is the first British person ever to have been given a full board position, and was elected to bring a fresh approach to how PAIMA is run.

The PAIMA Association, with other board members located in Brazil, Venezuela, Argentina, USA, and Switzerland, has just recently launched its new website www.paima.com. It now represents International overseas moving companies from North and South America, as well as over 25 countries from Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australasia.
