We collect anywhere in the UK and can arrange delivery of cartons and materials for your own packing. Contact us to see what suits your budget and needs. If packing, make sure nothing exceeds 30 Kilo per package or carton.
Burke Bros Moving offer budget sea freight which is slower but cheaper than airfreight. We guarantee delivery within 12 weeks of collection if going by sea, subject to circumstances beyond our control.
All precautions are taken to protect your shipment in transit and store but in addition we can arrange full comprehensive insurance cover at reasonable rates and can help with the marine documentation if required.
Customs duty and taxes will apply if effects have not been owned for 12 months. Baggage and shipments to Australia and New Zealand are subject to examination by local quarantine services and inspectors, so make sure any items being shipped have not been in contact with soil or vegetation; making sure everything is thoroughly cleaned prior to shipment.

You may need a stop gap between digs, storage prior to shipping, seasonal storage, overflow if your accommodation is partly furnished, or you’re arriving into the UK from overseas.
At Burke Bros we have self-storage and containerised storage facilities for as long as you need.
Why not group together with some of your friends and share a container or a storage room and share the cost?
Either bring your belongings and boxes to us for your own storage container or we can collect, if required, although this involves charges. We supply packing materials and cartons for your own packing.
Prices vary depending on work involved, cartons and materials if you wish to buy some and the length of time storage is required.
