As a sponsor of this year’s Black Country Chamber of Commerce awards, Burke Bros Moving Group will be awarding ‘Family Business of the Year’ to one of the carefully selected shortlisted candidates who are demonstrably flying the flag for family companies. Gary Burke will be presenting the award at the awards evening at Wolverhampton Racecourse on Friday 15 November 2019.
The award is open to businesses of all sizes and those operating in any sector, but shortlisted companies need to be family owned and run by two members of the family. The entrants will need to show how they are preparing the next generation of their family to ensure continued family ownership of the business and will need to demonstrate how the family businesses nature and values have contributed to the success of the organisation.
