We will arrive at your home to pack and wrap your items ready for shipment over a two to three-day period with the container being loaded on the last day and the inventory checked, ready for the container to be locked, sealed and driven to the UK port.
Upon arrival in Cyprus, one of our trusted agents will then take care of your possessions and move. Any goods entering the island are then subject to customs clearance and quarantine inspection.
Once your items have been cleared our agent’s operations department will arrange a mutually suitable day for delivery to your new home, or your shipment can be placed in secure storage facilities
We provide full container shipping, whereby your household effects will have their own 20ft or 40ft container, which is ideal if you wish to transport a full household of contents. We also offer groupage containers where you only pay for the space your possessions take up within a container. This method can take longer as there is a period of consolidation before the shipment is in transit.
Your items can take on average between 3 to 4 weeks to be shipped for a full container and 6 to 8 weeks on a groupage container. Times can also vary depending on the location of the port in Cyprus they are going to.
We can also manage items to be transported as air freight to and from Cyprus.
Alongside moving household effects, many of our customers want to take their vehicles abroad. Some customers opt for a method of shipment known as ‘Roll On Roll Off’. This involves a vehicle being driven onto the ship at the port of origin and then secured ‘wind-and-watertight’ on the vessel. After arrival at the destination country port the vehicle will then be driven off and await customs clearance. This provides a cost-effective method of shipping a car but does require that the shipper of the vehicle be present to collect the car before the vessel arrives.
Alternatively, other customers opt for their vehicle to be shipped within a shared or a sole-use container, in which the vehicle is shipped along with either another vehicle or alongside other items. The vehicle is always securely loaded to protect itself and the other items in the container. This method also means that the vehicle can be delivered to your new home.

Relocating from the UK to Cyprus involves navigating through immigration rules and regulations. As a foreign national, you will need to obtain a residence permit for an extended stay in Cyprus over 3 months. In the first instance, an entry permit or visa must be obtained- the nature of which depends on the type of stay, ie whether it is for study or work purposes.
Temporary visas- these are available for temporary stays (a maximum stay of 90 days within a 180 day period) which can be extended, in some cases, for up to a year or sometimes even five years. A temporary visa does not grant the right to work in Cyprus. If you’re intending to work, a work permit and visa must be in place before arriving in Cyprus.
Permanent visas- a permanent residence visa is necessary for stays longer than 90 days. They are valid for up to 5 years and can be renewed before they expire.
Permanent residency- there are two pathways to permanent residency. If you have held a temporary residence permit for at least five years, you may qualify for permanent residency under specific conditions (for example if you have had continuous residency in Cyprus without leaving for periods exceeding three months and possessing an ongoing or open-ended employment contract.) Purchasing property in Cyprus at a minimum of €300,000 offers a streamlined ‘fast-track’ route to permanent residency.
